Super Bowl Party Ideas

THIS POST CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS

When it comes to football in a household of boys we've learned a few things:

  1. FOOD is everything

  2. FOOTBALL is everything and more

  3. Go big or go home

But don't worry - this post has everything YOU need to make your Super Bowl Party day a breeze!! With links to the cutest (ie. not cheesy or chincy) party supplies that ship quick, plus a few fun recipes and tips to make them stress free so you can enjoy watching those commercials between football downs and enjoying the food - because that's what we're (ahem - I'M) really here for.

Extra bonus - if you're one of my monthly email subscribers you'll get a fun FREE printable football activity near the first of the month that is sure to please the young and old. It's free to sign up and I promise I don't spam (it's legit a once a month thing - because I'm a busy mom of 4 and nobody got time for anything else - lol). Sign up HERE.

First - the FOOD. We love the classic Super Bowl spread of snacks and appetizers like wings, quesadillas, buffalo chicken dip, and meatballs. One of my all time favorite appetizers is spinach dip! I have a slight obsession experimenting with puff pastry and decided the Super Bowl was the perfect excuse to experiment with this favorite appetizer. Turned out even better than I imagined! Plus - you can make it a few days before, freeze, and bake the day of!

See the full recipe and picture tutorial HERE. If spinach dip isn't your thing - I've got you! You can find a delicious filling substitute at the bottom of the post as well as a link to the cutest little football charcuterie board.

My family LOVES muddy buddies. These are the perfect treat to customize to any holiday and football season and Super Bowl parties are no exception. Be sure to make plenty of the chocolate footballs as they will be the first to go (little hands like to pick those cuties out!). Muddy buddies keep well in an air tight container - make these a few days in advance (be sure to hide them from little snackers) and pull them out for party day - easy peasy!

Full recipe can be found on THIS post.

While the food can certainly be the center piece of game day, I love going a little further with party supplies to make it extra special! I love gathering items that can be used from year to year but also love the ease of disposable. I've linked my football table runner and player cut outs along with the cutest paper plates and napkins I bought for this year. I've got a kiddo that is having a football themed birthday party with friends the day before the Super Bowl so I'll be doing a balloon arch with the most adorable referee mylar balloon for photo ops that will double as a party decoration for this years Super Bowl get together. I love it when the stars align for things like that! Use the scroll bar to shop them all (you can also find them all on my LiketoKnow.it page):

Games are always a fun addition to any Super Bowl party! We have THIS football man for the boys to toss their footballs into and of course it always turns into a competition (sometimes friendly, sometimes not so friendly). We purchased this guy after my 13 year old sons football team had him at a banquet - he was a big hit - literally - it was tackled quite a few times. Other games we will be doing this year include the Viral TikTok game that can be found HERE - money is always a HUGE motivator for any game. Football BINGO is sure to be a hit as well as a 'Football Guess The Game' - be sure to sign up HERE for my monthly newsletter for this little bonus!

XOXO,

Kimberly Marie
