St. Patrick's Day Charcuterie Board Ideas
St. Patrick's Day is a holiday that celebrates the Irish culture and heritage, and what better way to enjoy the festivities than with a themed charcuterie board! You know I'm always on board to create a themed snack board for ANY holiday and with charcuterie style boards becoming increasingly popular, they are a fantastic way to showcase a variety of delicious foods (or candy - that's a food group) in an appealing way.
Don't overcomplicate it! It's easy to get overwhelmed looking at all the professional images and creations of charcuterie boards but I want you to know how truly simple it is. I've created an informational post on how to design the perfect board for your festivities with EASY being a key component. You can read it HERE.
In this post I'm sharing 5 charcuterie ideas as well as some photos of a few St. Patrick's Day boards I've done in the past.
Ideas for St. Patrick's Day themed charcuterie boards:
Green Charcuterie Board: Create a board filled with green-hued snacks, such as green apples, kiwis, cucumbers, green grapes, and edamame. Add some green hummus, pesto, and guacamole for dipping, and some crackers and breadsticks for texture.
Irish Cheese Board: A cheese board is always a crowd-pleaser, and for St. Patrick's Day, you can incorporate some Irish cheeses. Look for options such as Dubliner, Cashel Blue, or Irish Cheddar. Add some crackers, bread, and fruit for a well-rounded board.
Shamrock Snack Board: Cut green bell peppers into shamrock shapes and add them to the board along with some cucumber slices, snap peas, and green olives. Add some cheese, crackers, and nuts for variety.
Irish Breakfast Board: For a breakfast-themed board, include some Irish favorites such as Irish bacon, black pudding, white pudding, and Irish soda bread. Add some scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and a variety of fresh fruit.
ROOT Beer and Pretzel Board: St. Patrick's Day wouldn't be complete without some ROOT beer! Pair with some soft pretzels, mustard, and cheese for a delicious and filling board. And if you like to drink beer - you could certainly add a variety of Irish beers such as Guinness, Smithwick's, and Harp.

I absolutely love the details in this board with the pops of orange and gold. It is by far my favorite of the boards I've created.
Candy boards are some of my go to's. They are incredibly easy and so fun to create for holidays.
Rainbows of course are what comes to mind when I think of St. Patrick's Day and the food ideas that you can theme rainbow are many. This is a simple board to place on the counter after school and feel good about what the kids are eating.
Which one will YOU make??
