Football Charcuterie Boquet

Football season is upon us, which means Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football (cue theme songs in my head), and Fantasy Football! Weekends are filled with football - and what better way to celebrate than with a fun, game-day snack display? This creative "flower" charcuterie bouquet, arranged in a football vase, is the perfect way to impress your guests (or football loving boys) while serving a variety of delicious snacks. Here's how to make your own football-inspired edible arrangement!

You can see my tutorial for the football vase HERE

What You'll Need for the perfect football party centerpiece:

- Football vase

- Pretzels

- Pepperoni slices (thin, large circles work best)

- Wooden skewers

- Chocolate-covered strawberries (you can make these look like a football if you like)

- Grapes

- Lil' smokies

- Canned crescent roll dough (to wrap mini sausages)

1. Prepare the Football Vase:

- The vase is the base of your charcuterie bouquet. It adds to the theme and will hold all the edible "flowers." You can place a Styrofoam circle in the bottom to help hold the skewers in place.

2. Make the Pepperoni Roses:

- To form the "flower petals," fold thin slices of pepperoni over a small fluted glass, layering them outward to create a rose shape.

- Once the rose is formed, insert a toothpick through the bottom to hold the shape. At this point you can place it into a cone or just skewer the bottom and place it into the vase. You can make as many roses as you like for your bouquet.

3. Prepare the Pigs in a Blanket "Flowers":

- Cut small pieces of crescent roll dough and wrap them around the mini sausages. Bake until golden brown according to the dough package instructions.

- Once cooled, thread the mini sausages onto a skewer. Insert into the bouquet alongside the pepperoni roses.

4. Add the Chocolate-Covered Strawberries:

- To bring some sweetness to the bouquet, prepare chocolate-covered strawberries or purchase pre-made ones. You can also make them look like footballs for fun! Insert them onto skewers and arrange them in the bouquet.

5. Pretzels:

   - Insert two large, salted pretzels into the vase. I used premade, frozen pretzels and skewered them through the center.

6. Incorporate Grapes:

- To add depth and texture, I placed the grapes at the bottom of the vase almost like they were falling out but you can incorporate them onto skewers within the bouquet as well.

7. Final Touches:

- Fill any gaps in your bouquet with additional items like a foam finger or other props related to your event. Assorted cheese would bring a delicious element as well.

**Serve and Enjoy!**

- Your football charcuterie bouquet is ready to be the centerpiece of your snack table! It's easy to pull out different components for guests to enjoy, and the edible arrangement looks festive and fun for any game-day party.

This DIY football-themed charcuterie "flower" bouquet is not only a unique twist on traditional game-day snacks, but it also adds a stylish touch to your table. Now, you're ready to cheer on your team with a delicious snack that's sure to impress your guests!

XOXO,
