Bunny Trail Mix

Updated: Mar 23, 2023

As Easter approaches, many of us are getting ready to celebrate with family and friends. And what better way to celebrate than with some delicious Easter Bunny Bait Trail Mix?

One of the key ingredients of this tasty snack is homemade granola. You can find my recipe HERE. Of course you are welcome to use your favorite granola (store-bought OR homemade) - OR the beauty of a snack mix is you can customize it to your tastes and swap out any ingredients - like your favorite cereal or popcorn for the granola. I've included some additional ideas below.

Another must have for this homemade snack mix is chocolate covered pretzels. These crunchy treats are the perfect combination of salty and sweet, and the chocolate coating adds an extra layer of decadence. Not only do they taste great, but they also add some texture to the mix, making it more interesting to eat.

Another essential ingredient in this trail mix are Cadbury Mini Eggs. These small, pastel-colored candies are a staple of Easter celebrations and add a pop of color to the mix. With their crunchy candy shell and smooth chocolate filling, they provide a burst of flavor that will satisfy any sweet tooth.

And of course, no Easter Bunny Bait Trail Mix would be complete without some bunny-shaped cookies.

What you'll need for bunny bait snack mix:

  • Homemade granola

  • Chocolate covered pretzels

  • Cadbury Mini Eggs

  • Annie's Bunny Grahams

Swaps:

  • Popcorn (kettle corn is amazing!)

  • Dried fruit like raisins or Craisins, even mangos

  • M&M's - peanut or milk

  • Cereal (Cheerios, Chex - muddy buddies anyone?)

  • Bunny shaped cheese crackers

  • Stick pretzels

To make the snack mix, start by combining everything in a bowl and giving it a good stir. You can transfer it to airtight containers or snack bags. This trail mix makes a great Easter gift or party favor, and it's also perfect for snacking on throughout the day.

This bunny mix is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. Happy Easter!

XOXO,

Kimberly Marie
